Meet Ma Petite!
Ma Petite is a one-year-old, approximately 37-pound French bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She's the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. One of her favorite pastimes is splaying out frog-legged on the bed!
This sweet girl loves people, other dogs and is great with kids. We've discovered she's either not a fan of cats, or maybe loves them a little too much, so a cat-free home would be best for her.
We suspect Ma Petite was hit by a car around Christmas and, as a result, suffered a broken pelvis. With some time and rest she's come through just fine and is pain-free! She's gaining more and more strength in her back legs, but they have a tendency to fall out from under her on slick surfaces. Her forever home will be happy to ensure she's not running on tile/wood floors until she's 100 percent healed.
This amazing gal doesn't need to be crated -- her foster family trusts her 100 percent when she's home alone. She's a great cuddler to boot, though she sometimes snores!
Ma Petite would love to have a four-legged canine companion, or would do just fine as an only pet. She simply loves her people and wants to be with them always.

About Canine Cupids
Canine Cupids is a rescue in Milwaukee that is comprised of volunteers who have been fostering for various organizations and volunteering at our local animal control. Canine Cupids focuses on Milwaukee’s homeless dogs, but will always help a dog in need when we can — regardless of location.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
