Sawyer is a sweet and loving affectionate boy, about 3 years old. He is a beautiful chocolate brown short hair male purebred dachshund. He loves to ride in the car and especially likes going to the park where he can see the ducks (he doesn't chase them though!). I like to play ball, but my mom says I use different rules from hers, so maybe the game isn't keepaway? I dunno Maybe my new family will teach me the rules. I love the backyard and i LOVE to lay on the deck when the sun is out, getting my bask on. If you give me any toys that squeak, watch out! I will hide them and then go find them and rip them apart! That's my own special game that I made up! Pretty good, huh?

I have never shown any aggression to any people, and I enjoy meeting new people. I am afraid of other dogs. If you want me to be around other doggies, you will need to help me work on that.
If I feel threatened, I have started fights with other dogs.

M mom is just looking for someone very special to give me the life I deserve. She has two other dogs and I'm just too scared for us all to get along. Can you be my new family?
