Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pablo is a 10 year old Chihuahua mix. He weighs 10 lbs. Pablo has been a happy guy until recently. He was adopted from us several years ago but his family is now returning him to us. They describe him as sweet and deeply attached to the other dog in the home. His family reports that Pablo's behavior has changed in recent times and he has become less playful and more independent. He doesn't care to be petted or touched and he has taken to growling and biting. As he has no teeth he doesn't do much damage but his family is unwilling to keep him in the home. He is good on the leash, knows SIT, PAW, OUTSIDE, WALK and he is not a barker.
We do not yet know if there is a medical reason for the change in his behavior. We are checking him out and should know more information later.
Pablo is, of course, old and settled and may experience difficulty in transitioning to a new home, especially as he has to leave behind his beloved companion, so we would like to place him with a patient, experienced owner who will give this old guy the golden years he deserves. We have an URGENT need to rehome Pablo. Please contact us if you can find room in your heart for this old-timer.
