Phineas is a lovable, goofy boy whose motto is "You've got a friend"! But he's had a bit of a bumpy road because Phineas was owned by a family who got sick of the responsibility of owning a dog, so they brought him to their vet's office and never came back. An owner-surrender dog like that is usually put down -- especially a black dog -- but Phineas is such a sweet boy, the vets didn't have the heart to do that so they brought him up to date on all his vaccines and found a low-kill shelter that agreed to take him in and give him the chance to find a home where he can believe in forever again. Phineas gets along with people of all ages and LOVES to play with other dogs so he is ready to make the best "little" brother! He really knows how to blend with the pack and is the super social type of Lab who can go anywhere and fit right in. He also truly loves to be with his people so we hope he can find a home where he'll be a treasured member of the family. We're not certain of Finn's mix (or even if he's a purebred) but he's about a year or two old and weighs about 55 pounds (a Mini-Lab!!) and he's a gentle, goofy guy.
