Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bennett is a nice dog who just wants a kind loving owner who will feed him good and give him lots of hugs. To be honest, not a clue what his breed is.... a little lab, maybe some Cattle Dog, a little hound with a splash of Heinz 57! Can't get a better dog then an all American Mutt!
Bennett is not a shy dog. He will cower sometimes with loud, unexpected noises but if just ignore it and he comes right out of it. We highly recommend a crate for him when not supervised. He will pick up inappropriate things to play with like throw pillows and game controllers. If you tell him no though, he drops it.
We don't know his background but things like seeing himself in mirror or glass seem new to him. Same with noises from the TV, he will look and watch intently. He is not barky and likes toys. I would call him low to medium energy. He will play by himself for 15 minutes or so and then settle. He is pretty good on a leash. If anything, he walks too close to you so be careful he doesn't trip you. He does need more work with basic training. I have been teaching him Sit, No and Lay Down.
He has not had any accidents in the house and he is perfect in the crate. No messes in there ever and he is quiet. He will seek out the crate to sleep in. He is very affectionate and initiates play with the other dogs. He is fine with little kids but probably shouldn't be in a house with cats.
