Harley's Story...
Hi There!
My name is Harley, everyone here tells me that I am a handsome 6 year old Labrador Retriever mix. I was found as a stray, my owner never came to pick me up... so now I am looking for a new place to spend my golden years in. I am a mellow, easy going guy who would love to join your family. I am good with other dogs, and have done great with the children who have visited with me at the adoption center. I love spending time outside in the play yard sniffing and watching the squirrels, but also enjoy lounging on my soft dog bed. I love cookies (particularly Jerky treats) and am SO smart! I know how to Sit, heel, load in to a car, and even kennel very easily. I have yet to have an accident in my room at the adoption center, and I have heard some of the staff say that they think that I'm housebroken. I am up to date on my vaccinations, am heartworm negative, have been microchipped, and even neutered! I'm ready to walk out the door with you! If you are a go with the flow type family, and are looking to add a BIG charming gentleman to your home, come visit with me! The adoption center is open from 12-6 daily!... See you soon!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Benbrook Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
