My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WE CANNOT ANSWER EMAILS ASKING ABOUT A DOG'S AVAILABILITY. IF IT IS LISTED WITHOUT THE WORD "PENDING" IT MEANS IT IS AVAILABLE.

Her foster mom who knows her best, says it best: "Willow is by far the sweetest dog I’ve ever met! She has no aggression whatsoever toward people or any other animals. Her patience level is amazing -- she’ll let a brand new puppy run up and down her, pull her ears and she just lays there not blinking an eye! All she wants is love… you’ll find her walking over to you and wanting to be held all day, just loved on in any way you are willing. She would be wonderful with kids. Besides being sweet, Willow is also the laziest dog I’ve ever met! She will come downstairs to eat, be pet, and then will go back to her bed and not move all day."

It could be that Willow is just so grateful for having a warm, cozy bed and someone who appreciates her. You see, Willow was found wandering alone in the woods by a wildlife officer. She was extremely emaciated and scarred up -- so obviously a discarded breeder dog, dumped in the woods alone and left to die when she was too old to breed anymore. Wildlife Officers are required to shoot the dogs if someone doesn't pick them up, so thankfully the officer knew of a kind person who would come rescue Willow, so he called her and that day became the First day of the rest of Willow's life!!! How she has blossomed!! Willow is a healthy, happy girl, weighing about 25 - 30 pounds and she is beyond grateful for having been given this second chance. The vet thought she might be only about 4 years old, but we think she's older, like in the 8 year old range. If you have the unconditional love to give a girl who has nothing but unconditional love to give back, please visit www.pinkshelter.com for more information about the adoption process or click here for our online application. Full vetting, spay and microchip included in her adoption fee. Willow is in Arkansas and transport fee is additional $140. IF YOU HAVE AOL or YAHOO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILE FOR OUR RESPONSE.
