This adorable little guy is Dexter, a schnauzer mix that is a little over 2 years old and is dreaming of a wonderful home of his own. Dexter came to us from our Newark facility when this tiny guy was found as a stray all alone on the city streets. Dexter was quite thin and sick with an upper respiratory infection, but he got lots of good medical care and plenty of TLC, and he is doing fantastic now. Dexter is loving life and making friends, and is ready to start over. He is so friendly and outgoing, and doesn't have an ounce of shyness in his little self. Within seconds of meeting you, he is happy to cuddle in your arms and will be your best friend forever. Dexter is young and energetic, and loves to go for walks and check things out. He is playful and super sweet, and he's well behaved too. Dexter doesn't seem to mind other dogs and is so ready to begin life again with a family that will love him always, and never let him go.
