Boo's Story...
Hi, my name is "BOO"...yep, "BOO"! (The kids in my previous family named me.). I'm a 3-1/2 year old, male Terrier-mix. I'm super active fellow and love to go for walks---as soon as my leash is snapped on, off I go in search of adventures, so my human should be in good shape for walking, too. I'm a fun, sturdy guy in great shape so I can walk alot!
However, I do need a secure fenced yard or otherwise off I go to investigate and then neighbors complain that I'm at their place and not my own home. That's pretty much why I'm looking for a new family who will enjoy my gregarious terrier personality. I'm outgoing both with humans and other dogs. I love car rides as well and will be your constant companion if you are the outdoorsy type. I can also fetch tennis balls---but I don't always bring 'em back, so be prepared for exercise on your part, too! I was just recently neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccinations--so I have a clean bill of health...and eager to meet my new active family who will include me in all your activities....but once we are all tired out for the day, I enjoy snuggling, too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo, a Roslyn Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Roslyn, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Roslyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roslyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roslyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roslyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
