Sammy's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Sammy's Story...
Sammy is a female Dachshund / Beagle mix, she weighs about 23 pounds, and she was born in January of 2013. She is wiggly, lovable, and very affectionate. She can be timid at first so she would probably do best with older children. Because she has Beagle in her, she should have a fenced-in yard in her new home. She should do well with other dogs and cats. Sammy will be a very nice companion.

*Sammy's adoption fee is $150. All HSSCM dogs have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and they are on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Battle Creek Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
