Dixie's Story...
Meet Dixie ... she is 1 of 4 sweet babies (3 girls/1 boy) that were born just before New Year's. Their mom was unable to care for them, so they came to JoJo's DogHouse to be bottle fed around the clock. They are with a wonderful foster mom and will be ready for their forever homes around Valentine's Day.

The mom is a purebred tri-colored walker hound and dad is a lab mix. Both weigh between 40-50 lbs.

Please checkout all the babes -- The boy is Dylan and the girls are Dani, Dakota and Dixie.

If you are interested in adopting one of sweeties, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will forward you an adoption application. Their adoption fee is $200 and will include their de-worming and first set of shots. Thank you for your interest in adopting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Gallatin Treeing Walker Coonhound/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
