Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rachel Ray is a friendly, playful, snuggly, happy and affectionate two-year-old, 56-pound, female Lab/Terrier-mix with warm brown eyes looking for a loving guardian.
Like her cheerful, dog-loving namesake, this Rachel Ray brings joy and enthusiasm to all of her activities, whether it's walks to the park, romping in the yard, squirrel-watching, playing with toys, or cuddling up with you in front of the TV. And it goes without saying that she enjoys a good meal.
Rachel Ray is a super-friendly gal who loves everyone - including cats, and most dogs - and is full of kisses and tail wags for everyone she meets. She even sleeps in bed with her foster mom. She loves toys and bones and rides nicely in the car. She also walks beautifully on leash wearing her gentle leader head harness, and has nice house manners. She is housebroken – however, if you’re gone over eight hours, she will need a dog-walker.
Rachel tends to get along best with gentle and mellow dogs smaller than herself. She is sometimes nervous around larger dogs so she’s not a dog park or doggie daycare kind of girl. She’s already beautifully trained; she knows sit, down and paw, and she takes treats gently from your fingers. She’d love to continue her formal education with her new family!
To meet and possibly adopt Rachel Ray, please fill in the adoption application at http://www.magnificentmutts.org/DogAppForm/NewApplicationsDog.html and follow up on your application by contacting the rescue at magmuttsrescue@aol.com If you have questions for her foster mom, please contact Anne at almaclaren@sbcglobal.net
Rachel Ray is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee of $100 benefits the rescued dogs and cats of Magnificent Mutts.
