Panda's Story...
Handsome Panda is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd mix in need of his fur-ever home! This guy has a FANTASTIC personality and is very loving and affectionate. He adores snuggling especially when he's getting lots of head and belly scratches, and at night he enjoys sleeping next to you and keeping you warm. He is super smart and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, and roll over. He is very treat motivated as well and so teaching new tricks should be fun and easy! He is house-trained and crate-trained too! Panda has a lot of energy and loves to spend a good part of his day playing with a friend, running around, and exploring new environments. He would love a family with a big yard for him to exercise in! He does well with dogs of any size, kids of any age, and even cats so he would fit right in to almost any family! He is microchipped, neutered, and current on his vaccinations so he's only missing you! If you're looking for a fun, active, affectionate boy, Panda may be the one for you! He's available at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook so visit him today! We're open daily from 12-6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Panda, a Benbrook Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
