Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am named after a Persian Princess "Theadora" (notice my kohl-lined eyes), but you can call me Thea. I'm dreamy and sweet and looking for a family that likes to play and explore. I love people and am very gentle and kind with them. I think I am really smart and want to learn lots. I can jump really high, like to run, fetch, play with squeakers, and toss my toys into the air. I'm crate trained, potty trained, and sleep like an angel through the night. Although I had the life of a pauper on the streets, I'm ready to be your princess. I will be a loyal and gentle companion to my new family.
Theadora is a young dog, about 1.5 years old who weighs about 46 pounds. She was rescued from a busy road by a good Samaritan who took her in to keep her safe.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
