My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Miss Jonna had been seen running around a local neighborhood for a couple of weeks when an EARS volunteer saw her. Jonna was so happy and friendly, she jumped right in the car as soon as the door was open. After looking for two weeks, her owner was never found. Jonna is about 2 years old and weighs about 8 lbs. We are not sure of her breed mix; we just know she is super sweet. Jonna knows a few commands like sit and stay. She loves to play with toys and chew on a Nylabone. Her favorite game is to chase balls. She also gets along well with cats and other dogs. Because Jonna has such delicate bones, we do not recommend her to families with children under 5.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
