Bentley's Story...
Check out this handsome guy! Bentley is a 2 1/2 year old Lhasa Apso in need of his fur-ever home. This guy is as-sweet-as-can-be and adores getting to know new people! He is very outgoing and is always ready to make new friends with people, other dogs, kids of any age, and cats alike! He is super loving and adores being by his family at all times. He is a cuddle-bug and enjoys being snuggled up next to you on the couch where he can receive lots of attention, head scratches and belly rubs. Bentley has previously had spells of tummy upsets that appear to have been caused by food but so far he has been doing really well when eating Purina One. Bentley is microchipped, neutered, and current on his vaccinations as well as heartworm tested negative. He is crate-trained and house-trained, though in a new environment we recommend being a little patient with him while he gets adjusted to a new routine. This precious guy is available at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook so come fall in love with him today! We're open daily from 12-6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Benbrook Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
