Laurence's Story...
Hi! My name is Laurence. I'm a 3 year old Labrador Retriever cross. I have been neutered, de-wormed and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I am a big, lovable sweetheart that loves to cuddle! I'm usually very quiet while I'm in my kennel, but don't let that fool you, I love getting attention. I do pretty good on a leash and I am just starting to get the hang of "sit", but with a little TLC and a training routine I know I'll have it mastered in no time.

A couple things to know about before you think about taking me home is that because of my size and my tendency to jump when I'm playing, I would do best with older children. Also, if you have any other furry friends at home, it would be best to do a meet and greet to make sure we get along. And finally, since I was found in the County of Vermilion River, I cannot go back to a home there, but anywhere else will be great! Stop by and say hello to me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laurence, a Lloydminster Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
