My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Chaplin, the energetic and playful pup who's always up for a game of fetch, a romp with his furry pals, or a stroll in the park!
This high-energy dynamo thrives on mental and physical stimulation, making him the perfect companion for an active and adventurous family! Chaplin's zest for life knows no bounds, especially when he's surrounded by his four-legged friends! He loves nothing more than racing and running alongside his doggy buddies! His compatibility with cats has not yet been tested.
While Chaplin may still be a work in progress when it comes to obedience and manners, he's already showing promising signs of becoming a well-behaved gentleman. With a training-oriented home that can provide him with consistent guidance and structure, Chaplin will surely blossom into the well-mannered boy he's destined to be! Currently, he's learning commands like "sit, "place, and "stay, and he's also working on perfecting his leash etiquette. One thing that makes Chaplin an absolute joy to train is his unwavering love for food! This little guy is highly food-motivated, which means that teaching him new tricks and commands will be a breeze! Just a few treats and a lot of positive reinforcement, and Chaplin will be the star of obedience class in no time! If you're searching for a playful and energetic companion who's always ready for an adventure, Chaplin is the one for you! With his contagious enthusiasm and boundless energy, he'll keep you on your toes and bring endless laughter and joy into your life!

More about this shelter

Animals Are Our Mission

Over 1,100 animals pass through our doors every year. Did you know that the average cost to get our animals ready to be adoptable is roughly $350 per animal? That is because we require our adoptables to be spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adopting out.

Population control and disease management are issues in our community that we are working hard to resolve. Your donations help ensure we can continue our mission.

We have an amazing team of hard working staff caring for our animals 7 days a week. They are supported by a group of engaged board members that are focused on bettering our organization.
