My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID

Not long ago Fuzzy Pawz was alerted to a very sad situation, 4 cats whose humans had both passed suddenly (within months of each other) were in desperate need of a place to go. The family was able to take the oldest of the 4 into their home but was unable to make room for the other 3. When we read the note we knew we had to do whatever it took to find these 3 babies forever homes. After telling the family that we would place Jack, Percy & Jo Jo into foster care and find them homes the caregiver said: “My heart just hurts that I can't keep all of them but to know that they will go somewhere full of love and that I get to watch their journey to a forever home just makes my heart full.” We knew we had made the right decision and upon meeting the 3 boys we were enchanted with all of them.

Jo Jo is a 2(ish) year old domestic shorthair and is very sweet and curious about life. He can be a little nervous in a new situation and tends to take a minute or two to warm up to new people. He likes to sit and watch what you are doing – we call it supervising, making sure you are doing your job – like getting him a treat! His beautiful yellow/green yellows with their soft lidded look make you want to just reach out and touch him.

This handsome boy loves to play with toys; he’s very good about entertaining himself but also really likes it if you play with him. Have an infestation of feather toys? Jo Jo is your boy; he will pounce and “kill” them for you! He likes it when you play with him and is so very adorable when he is starring down the toy mice.

Jo Jo does well with other cats and even likes cat friendly dogs. Even though he takes a minute to warm up to new people he is also very good with kids; seems to enjoy them in fact.

He also loves to snuggle up in his cat bed to snooze so a nice comfy cat bed in his forever home is a must.

We of course would love to see him adopted with 1 or more of his brothers (Purcy & Jack) but totally understand that someone adopting multiples is not always possible.

If you are looking for a handsome man to keep the toy mice and feathers under control then Jo Jo is your boy. His new home must be able to provide him with windows so he can bask in the sunshine all day, plenty of scratches and of course lots of love.

Jo Jo is neutered, vaccinated and in good health. Jo Jo is also declawed in the front.
