Conan's Story...
Conan is a big sweetheart, which is remarkable because he was born to wild mom in August, 2014. Thanks to a patient rescuer, he has blossomed into a real lover. He loves to purr & be held to have his shiny soft fur petted. He does very well with other cats & seems OK with dogs. He is still a bit shy, but once he feels comfortable, he shows his sweet personality.& play with his toys. Conan has handsome tuxedo markings. He is ready to go to his home—neutered, fully vaccinated, and dewormed. He will have an identity microchip. To meet Conan, call 540/586-6100. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Conan, a Bedford Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
