My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a pair of female chinchillas looking for a new home. Their names are Snowy and Hannah. Snowy is a white mosaic chinchilla, and Hannah is a violet chinchilla. They are both right around 3-4 years old. Snowy was born around July 7, 2011, and Hannah around July 6, 2011.
These females are very sweet. They both like being scratched under their chins. Of the two, Snowy does better with being held and petted. Hannah will definitely let you hold and pet her, no problem, but Snowy is the cuddle bug of the two. Snowy is the more outgoing one, and is more likely to come to the front of the cage, whereas Hannah is more reserved and tends to hang out more towards the back, until she gets to know you. Neither chinchilla bites.
The previous owner of these chinchillas has asked that the new owner continue to keep in contact with her regarding how they are doing via email / skype / etc. If you are not willing to do this, please check out some of our other chinchillas that do not have this requirement.
These chins are a pair and must be adopted together. Please don’t ask to adopt just one of them.
These chinchillas would make good “first chinchillas” if you’ve never had one before.
These chinchillas will come with some food to start you out (4 pounds of Mazuri pellets), two goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. They will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet, fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire, and provide proof of cage. If you are unwilling to do these things, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.

The adoption fee for Snowy & Hannah is $200.
