Feeling lonely, sad, blue or bored with life? Felix may just be what has been missing from your life.
This little guy is a 1(ish) year old Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua mix and he may be small in stature but what he lacks in size he makes up in personality. Felix refers to himself as "fun size" and we would have to agree; there is nothing about him that isn’t fun.
We could tell you the boring stuff like how is he house trained, crate trained, knows how to sit and lie down, and gets along with dogs and cats. But that's the boring stuff. How about the fact the he LOVES his people, he will lie in your arms and melt if you pet his neck and face, he will crawl under the covers to keep your feet warm, he likes to hike off leash with the other dogs and explore. Felix loves to play with other dogs...from a 10 pound Chihuahua to a 120 pound Mastiff mix, he is a friend to all canines.
Felix enjoys going for walks and car rides and gets very excited when the leash comes out because he knows an adventure is about to happen. Felix is often found contentedly chewing on a nylabone or chasing a rubber ball around the room.
Felix is very smart and food motivated which means he will quickly learn new tricks...it also means that whenever a chip bag wrinkles, he'll be there. He will sit in front of you with eager eyes hoping for just a "taste." Good luck turning him down with a face like his.
As much as Felix loves people he seems to have found certain people that set him on edge. We haven’t been able to figure out a pattern yet; so he will need to go to a home with no kids under 15. Also while Felix loves to snuggle he is NOT a “purse” dog and does not want or need to be carried around.
