My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Big Orange and I’m a very special cat. I lived with my mom who was the sweetest person I ever knew. She took care of me until she unexpectedly passed away. I was very sad but thought her family would take care of me. I guess they didn’t think I was one of my mom’s items of value because they just tossed me out with the garbage they didn’t want.

 It was very scary to be outside for the first time. It’s pretty tough to defend yourself when you don’t have any claws! Thankfully a nice lady began to feed me and called Henrico Humane Society. I’m now living with my foster family and they are very good to me. They cleaned me up and fed me delicious food and even gave me my own blanket to curl up in!

I love to be scratched, but really only on my head. I am very loving and will make a great companion. I hope to find my forever family very soon!

I do need to be an only pet. I'm afraid of other animals!
