Bing Crosby
4 year old Male Champagne Tonkinese
MUST BE ADOPTED WITH BROTHER, BOB HOPE
Bing is a large (17 pound) purebred Tonkinese who came to us with his brother Bob. These two are not only biologically related but also the best of friends and must go home to the same lucky household.
Like most Tonkinese, Bing is elegant, affectionate, mischievous, intelligent, vocal, and outgoing. Even a stranger is immediately presumed to be a friend; when someone comes near, Bing quickly rolls over on his side for a belly rub. Bing is also an ingenious cupboard and sliding door detective. He loves the challenge of figuring out how to get the door open. Both boys love to chase each other through the house and observe their domain from high places. They would also probably escape to the outdoors, given the opportunity; their new guardians will have to be careful to keep them safely inside.
Bing has soft, short, fur and enjoys being brushed. In fact, he loves hair; if you lie down on the floor near him, he will not be able to resist licking your hair! His previous owner clipped his nails about every two weeks, and his new owner should probably do the same. Bing is quite good about having this service performed.
Bing is not a lap cat: he will jump up in your lap but not stay very long. However, he adores attention and will sleep with you if you let him. His foster mom believes that he and Bob would do be best as only pets and with someone who is home a lot.
Bing loves wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. He also loves classical music but would, no doubt, be gracious about expanding his musical horizons. He is being fostered in Elk Grove, near Sacramento. For more information, please contact Karen Pahler at aby_lover87@yahoo.com.
