My name is Bella and I am a 7 year old, 13 pound bichon. My hair was shaved and now it feels wonderfully soft and white. My foster mom tells me it is going to be very pretty when it grows back out.
I came to Small Paws with lots of bladder stones, but they had a vet do surgery on me to get them all out.
Now I need to only eat a type of dog food so the stones don't form again.
As you can see from my picture, I am content to hang out in an open crate on my doggie bed (my foster mom couldn't get me to stand long enough to get my picture because I am so laid back :). I love to snuggle and interact with my foster parents and enjoy short walks. I like the other dogs in my foster home! There isn't a cat in the house, but foster mom doesn't think I would bother a cat since I am so calm. I am good with children. My house training is going much better since the stones have been removed and I am able to hold my bladder for longer periods of time.
Bella is being fostered in KY.
