After being found chained to a tree and 30lbs underweight, Darwin is slowly learning how to really be a dog! He has learned to stretch out and truly relax. He leans in for love and affection which usually ends up with him flopping on the floor to get belly rubs. Like most shepherds, he is vocal and active. His manners with small dogs are great and he is learning how to be more calm when meeting new big dogs. He's just SO excited to meet them! Cats are fun to chase, but he is not aggressive or mean with them. Though he has gained almost 10lbs in his foster home, he still has a long way to go. He bonds quickly to his person and is going to make someone a very loyal companion. Darwin is estimated to be approximately five (5) years old. Darwin is stubborn and smart and will require working dog experience and someone wanting to continue training. He is fine with older children, roughly 10 and up.

Darwin's adoption fee is $250. All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule. All applications begin with a submitted adoption application, found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25 except on a case by case basis.
