Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This bright-eyed, handsome young man is Spots, a German shorthair pointer mix that is dreaming of a great home of his own. Spots is a little about 4 years old and came to us from our Newark facility when his owner gave him up the day after Christmas with no reason given. Spots was hoping that his New Year's would be better, but he is still waiting for the home of his dreams. Poor Spots was a bit nervous when he arrived and was shy with meeting new people, but once he learns that he can trust you and that you mean him no harm, he can hardly contain his excitement at the thought of playing and running with you. He is still a bit shy with newcomers and is even a little barky while in his kennel, but that is just because he doesn't know you, Ask to meet him outside and you'll meet the real Spots, the sweet, gentle, and playful boy that we all love. He is an active and energetic guy that loves to take long walks and check everything out. He'll run after toys as long as you throw the for him and is very polite about giving them back to you. Spots would love a home with a nice yard to romp and roam in. Spots will need a home with no cats given the chance to get to know and become comfortable with a dog his size, he may be fine with another dog. Spots is hoping that his special someone will come along soon and offer him the fabulous home that he deserves, and never let him go again. File#24437 2/25/15
