Hi People,
My name is Benji and I’m a happy, friendly, affectionate and fun-loving guy of five or six who is as sweet as sugar. Mom says I’m the most attentive little guy she has ever met ‘cause I pay close attention to everything that’s going on around me. Dad says I have confidence and spirit plus I’m smart, loyal and a great companion. (Did I mention handsome and charismatic?)
I am a very sweet boy with lots of love to give. When it comes to doggie goodness, Mom says I’m the complete package! She says I want to please and make people happy! I know some commands and like to show you how well behaved I am. If you tell me to “sit,” why I know just what to do! I’m also housebroken, love my walks and ride beautifully in the car! At night, when the day is over, I curl up in my bed and sleep quietly all night long.
Dad says that I’m an ‘acclimator’ and that I don’t miss a step. You see Dad has a motorized wheel chair and likes to take me and my doggy foster sister for walks. Well, the first time I saw it I figured it out right away – and I can keep Dad company yet not be in the way.
It’s also true that I love to be around kids. When I hear the neighbor’s kids coming home from school I get so excited! I would love to have some kids of my own to cuddle and play with. Mom and Dad don’t have them but they know a few (kids, that is). I always greet new people like my best friends – and they respond by giving my pets and belly rubs. Now I’m the kind of guy who really, really gives in to a belly rub! So if you like to give them I like to get them!
Because I am such a smart and talented guy (those are Mom’s words so who am I to argue?) I am ready for my forever home. A home with kids and another furkid would be ideal for a guy like me. But I can also be the only furkid in the house. Most of all, I need a family who will love and appreciate the fun-loving, friendly, calm little guy I am - and at 15 pounds I’m the perfect sized bichon too.
