In April, five little 4 week old puppy sisters were found wandering as strays and brought in to the local shelter. When they were spotted by our volunteer three weeks later, she knew they needed to get out of the shelter and into a foster situation where they could learn the joys of living in a house and running around in a back yard. The shelter was happy to see them go into foster, and so they became the newest fosters in our group.

Patty is one of the smaller sisters. When she first came home, she seemed to be a quiet shy puppy. It took only an hour or so to make it clear that was not so. Patty is very outgoing, as is the whole litter. She does not hesitate to jump into new situations and try new things. When it is quiet time, she can generally be found snuggling with one of her sisters, or any dog in the house who has found a nice soft warm spot in which to nap. Outside Patty enjoys picking up sticks and parading proudly around the yard with her prize. What a sweet addition to any family this pup would make. As with all pups, adopting a youngster is a big commitment, so consider carefully if you have the time, patience and energy to teach this baby how to become a responsible loving family member.
