Tramp's Story...
Can you stand the cuteness?? This adorable little guy is Tramp, a wirehaired terrier mix that is about 7 years old, and would love a great home of his own. Tramp came to us as a stray in need of medical attention. The poor little guy had a large hematoma on his right ear that was quite bothersome. Our veterinarian took care of it for him and he is one happy pup these days! Tramp is just as darling and sweet as he looks. He acts as if he's a little shy when you first meet him but within seconds of knowing you, he'll stand on his little hind legs, rest his head on your leg, and ask you for some attention. Tramp is very affectionate and just loves people. He is very well behaved also. He walks on a leash like a perfect gentleman, takes treats very gently, and sits instantly when asked. He doesn't seem to mind other dogs would transition easily into any loving home. Tramp is ready to start over with a wonderful family of his own that will love him always. File#24476 3/7/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tramp, a Forked River Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
