Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Huxley and I’m a very energetic and loving one-year-old male Hound mix. I’m very people-friendly and do well with children, especially those who like to play, but I probably need to be the only dog in the house. I can be aggressive toward other dogs when they are leashed or indoors. Although I weigh 60 pounds, I still think I’m a little lap dog. I love cuddling in the house, but I really need room to run around outside so I can get rid of some of my energy. I’m happiest when I have a chance to run around, play fetch and tug-of-war, and go on long walks, which I do well when harnessed. I bark when a stranger comes to the door, and I’m protective of my human. She says I’m a good watchdog and I make her feel safe living in downtown Charleston. I share my space with a cat right now and I don’t mind so much, as long as we keep our distance from one another. I’m up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and housebroken. This listing is for a privately owned dog. Please contact Huxley’s owner Michelle Smyer at smyerme@g.cofc.edu or phone: 803-206-6108.
