My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet LAURA! Laura is 2 years old, super sweet and wiggly! She is 55 lbs, spayed and fully vaccinated. Unfortunately, Laura is heartworm positive, but she will be treated in the coming days. Stay tuned as we learn more about this pretty girl!

FOSTER UPDATE 4/11/15: Laura is much happier now that time has passed since her HW treatment. She is honestly one of the easiest fosters I had. She is very sweet and loving. She likes to follow Kiara and Livingston when something is happening and they need "backup" but she is also content being on her own. She does not play with toys in part because she had yet not figured them out, in party because she is not mouthy at all. She loves her walks and she loves going for rides in the car but she does not need much more than a walk: she is not really the athletic type! She is a quick learner especially if she can watch another dog doing something. She is very affectionate with humans and when she is excited she has spurs of "puppy crazies" that are hilarious. She is absolutely great in the crate and sits there with no complains. She is also a "tank' and can go 15 hours without peeing and she would not go unless she really has to which freaks me out a little... but she only had one accident in the house so far so i trust that she will go when she needs to. She stays where I am and follows me around but she does not have any separation anxiety. She will steal food if it is where she can reach it but she is also learning quickly what she can and what she cannot do. Honestly she is a super dog and the ideal dog for anyone who wants a very easy loving dog.

FOSTER UPDATE: She is super sweet. A little unsure. Tries to play but she is not sure how. Yet it looks like she has been inside or she is really good at guessing what the couch is for :-) She passed out last night after dinner and did not wake up until morning. I had to wake her up to make her go pee and then she went back to sleep. I put her in a crate overnight to see what she would do and she did not make a beep all night. She is super super easy and lovely. She is very patient with other dogs and is trying really hard to fit with her foster brothers by copying anything they do. She is a SUPER dog and she deserves a super home. I am not sure if she would do well in a home with kids. I think she would be a great companion for some kids on the quiet side who wants someone to sleep and read to. She would also do well with an older person who wants a dog to go everywhere with.
