Boone's Story...
Hi! I am Boone and I am a shy Cuddly male Feist. I was born on 3/1/14. I was left on the doorstep of a rural high kill shelter in South Carolina. It was very scary there! I used to hug the animal control people’s legs when they brought me inside to feed me. I was so happy when rescue came and took me away from there. My Rescue lady says that I have very nice manners and that I am crate trained. I am a very quiet boy that will enjoy a quiet home life. She says that I never ask for anything and I patiently wait to be noticed. I love to be held and melt against people for hugs. I am good with Adults both Males and Females. I am even good with other dogs; I just need a quiet home to be comfortable.
We will be taking a long trip from Georgia to Connecticut soon to meet lots of wonderful folks at something called an Adoption Event.

Boone will be coming to our April Event at the Durham Fair Grounds - Cow Palace - Town House Road - Durham, CT. April 11th & 12th from 10am - 4pm. If you are interested in applying for Boone please visit our website and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boone, a Chester Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist for sale in Chester, or seeking a Feist dog from a breeder in Chester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist breeders who help with Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chester paves the way for another one to be saved.
