Dakota is a stunning husky mix, about three years old. She has beautiful, expressive blue eyes and a temperament to match! She is calm and mellow inside, and follows her foster mom everywhere. She was thrilled to go out and play in the snow, and after several minutes of running and jumping she proceeded to bury her head in a large drift, apparently enjoying the feel of it on her face.
Dakota is extremely well behaved and gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, although she can be a bit dominant at times. She knows basic commands and is affectionate and loyal. She seems to get along with people of all ages and greats each new guest in her foster home with a wagging tail and kisses.
Dakota weighs about 40 pounds, much less then a purebred husky, so she is the perfect size for most any family. Her foster family leaves her free in the house when they are at work and she is perfectly fine - no crate needed. She is spayed, up to date on all her shots, housetrained, and microchipped. She is a wonderful dog who deserves a great forever family.
