Rory and her mother, Lorelai (known as The Gilmore Girls), were rescued from a local shelter after their family surrendered them. They are both unique, sweet, beautiful girls. Rory’s mother, Lorelai (also available for adoption), appears to be a Burmese, so Rory has been listed as a tonkinese, which is a cross between a Burmese and a Siamese. She definitely has the characteristics of a Siamese. She is sweet, sassy, and talkative. If you are looking for a quiet cat, Rory is not your girl. She is also very intelligent and inquisitive (also Siamese traits) and will need a home familiar with how active the Siamese breed is and is willing to give her a lot of attention so that she does not get into things that she is not supposed to. Rory is also extremely sweet. She has a nonstop purr motor and loves to headbutt. She does not care much for being held, but will curl up on your lap or right next to you. Rory gets along great with everyone, even the large dog that lives in her foster home. She does need to go to a home with another animal (either cat or dog) because she does not like being by herself. Because of her high activity level, she also needs to go to a home without young children.
