Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor Charlie came to our rescue in a horrible emaciated state.
A "neighbour" of his was trying to rehome him online as his original owners could no longer care for him.
We offered help, without ever seeing the dog or photo's and when he arrived, this is how he turned up.
We were absolutely shocked at his state of emaciation, but he was nothing but happy to meet us all!
He is a quiet boy, gets along with other dogs, though very high energy dogs intimidate him a bit. He loves his walks, and loves his cuddles!
He as approximately 25lbs to put back on, but we're hoping his new forever home will assist with this process.
We are currently switching him over to a raw diet, and we expect his health to bounce back very quickly.
We did fecal exam that came back clean and his bloodwork also came back clean.
It appears it was just a matter of pure starvation. Not being fed.
The weight gain needs to happen slowly and steadily, without over feeding or we risk upsetting his little tiny tummy!
Included in his adoption: vaccines, heartworm test (ne's negative), microchip, and neuter.
Adoption Fee: $350.00
