Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arooo, Arooo! My name is Detroit and I am an 8 week old, 4.8 lb. beagle mix female. My mom, Miss Dubois, was rescued from an overcrowded home in West Virginia. My siblings and I were born in a foster home almost a week after our mom arrived in NJ. My mom is a beagle mix, but I don’t know anything about my dad. I will probably be a smaller-sized girl when I am full grown.
I have had a blast with my siblings and foster parents the last 8 weeks, but now I have to get off my puppy butt and start looking for another place to live. This is what my foster mom wants you to know about me, “Detroit was born on 1-28-15 and raised with five siblings. She grew up with 2 cats and 2 dogs (not including her mom) and has played with kids and adults of all ages. She is very comfortable with being handled and doesn't mind if you touch her paws, ears, and face. She is a spirited and playful pup! Her favorite thing to do is spin in a circle, run up to you, stop, and then pounce playfully into your arms! She will run with you, dance, hop and "hunt" for treats. She is a little ball of happy and she wants to share it with her forever family!"
Detroit has been introduced to washable pee mats, but will need some help with housetraining. She will also need to learn the rules in her new home. She will be at Petsmart on Saturday from 11-3 pm. You need to be pre-approved before you can adopt, so if you are ready to make a lifetime commitment to Detroit, please fill out an application.
