Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Woof, woof! My name is Dakota and I am an 8 week old, 4.4 lb. beagle-mix female. My mom, Miss Dubois, was rescued from an overcrowded home in West Virginia. My siblings and I were born in a foster home almost a week after our mom arrived in NJ. My mom is a 17 lb. beagle mix, but I don’t know anything about my dad. I will probably be a smaller-sized girl when I am full grown.
I love my foster parents and have enjoyed living in their home rent-free for the last 8 weeks, but now it is time for me to start searching for my own home. This is what my foster mom wants you to know about me, “Dakota was born on 1-28-15 and raised with five siblings. She grew up with 2 cats and 2 dogs (not including her mom) and has played with kids and adults of all ages. She is very comfortable with being handled and doesn't mind if you touch her paws, ears, and face. Dakota is the laid back pup of the litter; she enjoys the quiet of her den, but wants to be where she can see what is happening so that she can be a part of the family. She is very gentle and sweet. She loves to be held and will happily climb into your lap for snuggles. You could carry her everywhere and she would be in heaven."
Dakota has been introduced to washable pee mats, but will need some help with housetraining. She will also need to learn the rules in her new home. She will be at Petsmart on Saturday from 11-3 pm.
