Woof, woof! My name is Belle and I am a 9 week old beagle-mix pup that came from a home in West Virginia that was filled with too many dogs. Unfortunately, the person who owned the dogs was unable to keep them, so they all had to find other places to live. Lots of people worked very hard to connect with Beagle Rescue Groups that were willing to rescue the dogs and find them new homes. In January, Penny Angels agreed to take several beagles from that home and my mom (Mrs. Brown) was one of them. The day before she was set to travel to NJ, my mom gave birth to her pups.... I guess we just couldn’t wait! We all traveled together to NJ as planned and have been with Penny Angels the whole time. We love each other and enjoy playing together, but now that we are getting older, we have to start looking for our new homes. Three of my siblings were adopted last Saturday at Petsmart; I hope that this week will be a lucky one for me as well!
I am a smaller girl… a delicate flower… only weighing 4.2 lbs., so I expect to be a smaller-sized gal when I am older. My mom is a beagle mix and only weighs 18 lbs., but I don’t know anything about my dad. I love to play with my siblings and am very social, so I will get along with everyone! I will need some help with basic training so that I can grow up to be a well-mannered adult! I will be at Petsmart in Mays Landing, NJ on Saturday from 11- 3 pm if you want to meet me. If you are interested in adopting me, you will need to be pre-approved first. Please contact Penny Angels and fill out an application if you are willing to make a lifetime commitment to my care.
