Bentley is a very affectionate 7 year old Bichon/Shitzu mix. At 12 lbs, he is quite a handsome little guy.
Unfortunately, his previous owner’s new job hours prevented her from giving him the time and attention he needed.
He also shared his home with a 5 year old little boy.
Bentley loves being close – very content with following his foster mom all over the house, sitting by her side or laying/sleeping under her desk while she works.
He loves belly rubs, ear and chest scratches.
After getting to know the other 2 dogs here, they all play well together.
Bentley loves the chase. He has had no experience with cats.
Bentley loves squeaky toys - small tennis balls are his favorite and very entertaining.
He also enjoys pulling the stuffing out of toys.
Never having had a fenced in yard, before now, he loves to explore and knows to come when you call his name.
Bentley is crate-trained and is relearning house training, which is going very well.
He would rather sleep in bed with you, but he will settle down nicely into his kennel in your bedroom.
Bentley will need another dog in the home with him or someone that is home most of the time.
Bentley is a snuggle bunny and full of lots of love to give. May he give it to you?
Bentley is being fostered in MD
