Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adopted - June 2015
I'm Kensie!
I'm a 14 month old (born February 14, 2014) female Blue Tick/Red Boned Hound/Border Collie mix. I might even have some Pointer in me too. I am up to date on all my vaccines, spayed, and house trained.
Do I look familiar? I was originally adopted out by MAR as a wee pup when I was only 10 weeks old. Due to a change in circumstances at home that were completely beyond my control I've found myself back with MAR and looking for a forever home....again!
I am a very HIGH energy poochie so I need to find someone who is committed to exercise and play as much as I am! I sometimes need to be reminded who's the boss and my doggy manners could use a little work. As long as I am shown some guidance and boundaries I do great. I am very playful and my foster mama says I'm sweet and very smart!
I am crate trained during the day and I'm very good at that. I can be a bit much for smaller dogs so if you already have a dog one my size or larger would be ideal for me, tho it just depends on if me and the other dog clicks or not. I get along ok with cats and older children would be best. I love people so much and I am super friendly with everyone I meet.
I know there is someone out there that can help me become the poochie I am meant to be. We can put in the time and work together and form a wonderful relationship!
Since I am still a puppy I'd benefit from training classes and MAR is willing to help anyone who fosters or adopts me with them....so cool!
