Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby is a sweet and smart 8 year old Schnauzer, weighing 18 pounds. Abby is a total love bug! She gets along with everyone. Her foster mom states that she is a pleasure to have around! She loves hanging around other doggies. We are not sure how Abby does around cats.
Abby loves going outside. She gets really excited when she knows she will go outside and has great energy on her walks. She is happy to go on a fast paced walk or a slow Sunday stroll. When meeting other dogs on a walk, she has a very sweet disposition. Sometimes when people walk towards her she gets really excited and wags her tail in the funniest way!
Abby’s favorite things to do consist of: cuddling, being pet, lying in her bed, and eating treats! She will put her face close to yours and will look at you with her beautiful eyes while you pet her. Typically, Abby is a couch potato.
In addition, Abby is housetrained and does not use puppy pads. When she needs to go to the bathroom, she will look at you and then will stand by the door. Abby barks when she is really excided but does not specifically bark at people or dogs. She travels very well and displays no resource guarding! She knows basic commands, such as: come and out. She is also working on the command: sit. Currently, Abby is learning how to walk like a pro on a leash.
