Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When you think of HAPPY, you think of Nora. Nora is a nine week old Akita mix. Nora is looking for a family that will love her as much as she loves. Nora loves being outside and would be the perfect companion for the active family. Nora is great with all dogs. Her tail is crooked as you can see in the photo. Our vet's thinks it was broken at one point and she did not receive veterinary treatment. It does not bother her and we think it is adorable.
If you are interested in giving Nora a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the section. While you are there, please like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

It can also be found on our website www.merceranimalrescue.org
You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions at 901-651-6322
Nora's adoption donation is $495 helps cover the cost of spaying, shots including bordetella (kennel cough) and rabies, recent vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
Nora is living with a foster family in Tennessee and will travel to her new home by professional pet transport. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption fee. This fee allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.

Thank you for considering one of our rescue dogs.
