Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wheatie is a Wheaten terrier/poodle mix. He is about 2 years old and weighs 24 lbs. He is a sweet boy but has not had much socialization. He took a minute to warm up to the other dogs in the house but is now looking to them for leadership and has improved so much since being rescued. He was shy with people at first but has made amazing progress. Wheatie is almost housebroken but not 100% there yet. He walks well with other dogs but will pull and tug when walked along. It’s clear that he needs the help of other dogs to socialize him and help teach him the ropes. He is fearful of cats and when leashed. He hates his crate! He can easily become overwhelmed and would do best in a quiet household where he can take his time and settle in. We do not recommend him for a home with hyper dogs or small kids because of his timidity. He can also be territorial around the people he loves. He is a sweet boy, a real lover and a cuddler who prances along like a little pony and is just coming out of his shell so much.
