Additional info: This sweet girl is being returned to us by her family as she needs someone home with her during the day who can work with her on one or two issues she is strugglling with. Delilah is good with cats and dogs but is fearful and insecure and shy with people and loud noises. Her family has tried very hard to help her gain confidence but have reluctantly come to the conclusion that she might fare better with someone who is more experienced. Delilah is still working on housebreaking after a year and right now is still having accidents in the house even when she is walked so she needs a patient and consistent hand to help her learn. She should be crated when left alone and she would do best in a home with a yard. She is a gentle shy dog and very submissive. She walks well on the leash and she's not a barker. She is laid back and prefers being with her person to other dogs. She is not into toys but she likes chew sticks. She might be ok with kids older than 9 but she has growled at younger children. Dellilah is a diamond in the rough and we have a feeling this girl has an amazing personality which will blossom if someone can help her overcome her fears and learn to mind well and obey commands. She's ready for her forever home right now.
