Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sooky will be available for adoption soon. We are currently taking applications for her at www.helpingpawsonline.com
Sooky is a HIGH ENERGY Border Collie (mix) approx. 1 yr. old
Sooky is currently interviewing for her furever home. Successful applicants will have the following qualities:
Will have knowledge of and respect for the needs of my breed (I may be a mix, but my heart and actions are that of a full blooded Border Collie)
At least 2 acres of fenced yard
Children 8 yrs. and older: all others will be lovingly knocked to the ground (oops)
Involve me in their daily athletic activities; ie, jogging, playing in the yard, teaching me agility
Allow me to be my hyper loving self and guide my energy towards being a responsible family member
Other pets in the home are fine by me; but not required. I love to play with other animals.
I am crated at night and when my foster mom isn’t home. I don’t like it; but as long as I have a rawhide to keep me occupied I’m good with it. My foster mom is not housebroken yet. She’s trying and I’ve been working with her on it; but she doesn’t always get my signals right.
I am learning sit and stay and would love to learn to play Frisbee; I already have the “move” down.
There is also a cat here at my foster home that I love to play with. He is available to go with me should you like.
I am not perfect, I don’t like other dogs to eat my food. I’m not aggressive about it; but I do let them know it. None of the dogs at my foster home care when I voice my opinion and I hope they don’t cause I would most likely back down quick. I am a very submissive pup.
My adoption fee is $275.00. I will be spayed, micro chipped, and vaccinated before I go to my forever home.
My foster mom thinks I am a GREAT dog; she also says I am a “nut” and a “freak” to see why, visit my Facebook page that she created for me at:
