My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet London Love (yep, we all see that heart)....~6- 7 yr old piebald female, ~10 lbs, sweet, good with kids ages 9 & up and she's good with other dogs. We aren't quite sure how she'd do with cats. She doesn't pay them much attention at the vet's office, but she does want to chase them while on walks. She is a total love and proving to be housetrained. She lets you know when she needs to go out. She walks around & "talks" but is not a big barker.

If you are interested in adopting London, you can fill out an application right on our website! Go to dreamhappytails.org/adoptform.shtml. London 's adoption fee is $500 All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. London will go to his/her new home microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.

DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.
