Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Appaloosa is one of the most uniquely beautiful Chihuahuas we have ever seen and she is every bit as loving as she is gorgeous. Nicknamed the Chiraffe because of her looooong legs, this little brown merle lady was dumped at a high kill shelter when her former family decided they wanted a bigger dog. At only 4lbs. little Appa certainly didn't fit the bill. What she lacks in size, our Chiraffe certainly makes up for in love. She adores cuddling with her people and even gives hugs! This 8 month old girl is extremely smart and has already learned sit, high five and down. She is also a very talented dancer and walks on her hind legs like nobody's business, especially when food and treats are involved. Miss Appa is crate trained and housebroken, both potty pad and outside, and is great with dogs, cats and kids (6+ please). True to her breed, Appa has a tendency to forget she's such a tiny peanut and she has her sassy moments but we think her spitfire personality just makes her all the more endearing. Appaloosa is up to date on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting our little Chiraffe, please fill out an application at ruffstarthappytails.org.
