Here's what the humans have to say about me:
5 month old TERRIER MIX PUPPY MALE
Rufus is an adorable, friendly and sweet natured puppy that has been
diagnosed with juvenile vestibular disease. He is also partially blind, but
seems to be able to run and play and get around just great once he knows his
environment. Juvenile Vestibular disease manifest as dizziness in the pup, a
slight head tilt and occasional nausea. It is possible that Rufus can
outgrow the vestibular disease but his sight is impaired but he is not
totally blind by any means. Rufus would be best in a home with another dog,
as he plays well and takes cues from other dogs. He should also be in a home
where his owner is not gone a lot and can devote time and attention to him.
Rufus has no problem being left alone in a safe room or bathroom and does
not display separation anxiety. A lot of noise and barking confuses him, so
a quiet, less chaotic home would also be best.
