Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Sammy and I’m a beautiful 1-year-old, 45-pound mixed breed male with an outgoing personality looking for a furever family to love. I came to live at Southside Animal Hospital a while back after I received a hip injury. A wonderful woman found me and brought me in for treatment. Once I started to heal, my amazing temperament shined through and I’ve kept my Southside family smiling ever since. They laugh at the way I run, with my legs spread out in a V shape and a goofy expression on my face, and the way I prance around on “dancer feet.” As you can see, I have a lot of energy, so I’ll need a fenced yard in which to play, roam and run. I get along well with other dogs but haven’t experienced cat life yet, so it would probably be best if my new family doesn’t include a cat. I do well with children; however with my high energy, you would need to watch me around young children until we adjust to each other. My Southside family says I’m very trainable and they’re teaching me basic commands whenever they can fit it into their busy schedules. I’m housebroken and walk well on a leash. I’m up to date on all vaccines, flea/heartworm prevention, neutered, and microchipped. If you would like to meet me, please contact Southside Animal Hospital on John’s Island at 843-556-6969 or email reception@southsideah.org. Also, feel free to just stop by for a “meet and greet.”
